Mickey's 4th of July Fireworks Fruit Parfait
*serves 8

Ingredients:

1 pre-made Angel Food Cake (bought in grocery store bakery or made from a mix)
1 lb. fresh strawberries, stems removed and cut into quarters
1 lb. fresh blueberries
2 cans of whipped cream* (can also be substituted with: ice cream, Cool Whip, or yogurt)
vanilla wafers (2 per parfait)
clear punch cups (Dollar Tree or party supply store)
4th of July decorations, to look like fireworks (I found mine at Dollar Tree, it was a weighted centerpiece)

Directions:

Cut the cake into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.

Take a punch cup and drop a few cake cubes into it (3-4).

Next, add a layer of whipped cream.

Now, add some blueberries.

Add some more cake cubes.

Add another layer of whipped cream.

Finish with a layer of strawberries.

Top it off with a mound of whipped cream.

Insert your decoration to look like fireworks.

Set a vanilla wafer on each side for the Mickey ears.

**Because of the whipped cream, this recipe should not be made until ready to serve. But if you'd like to prepare them sooner, then substitute the whipped cream for: Cool Whip or yogurt.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
