Christmas Treats from the Disney Parks

Now you can make the same Christmas Treats
that are sold in Disney Parks by following this easy recipe.
These Christmas Tree Pretzels and Marshmallows
will be a hit at your upcoming holiday party.

Christmas Tree Pretzel Rods
*makes 24

Ingredients:

24 ounces vanilla almond bark (found in grocery store's baking aisle, near chocolate chips)
24 pretzel rods (found in potato chip aisle)
green sprinkles
white sprinkles
m&m's minis


Directions:

Melt vanilla almond bark in microwave or stove top according to directions on back of package. Dip a pretzel rod 2/3 of the way into the melted bark, use a spoon to spread it, if needed. Shake off excess. 

Using a spoon, dust the entire rod with green sprinkles. Place on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet. Repeat for remaining pretzels. Place in fridge or freezer until firm.

Using a fork, drizzle the melted bark over the green layer. Watch the above video to see how this is done. Immediately press several m&m's into the wet bark. Now, dust with the white sprinkles. Return to the wax paper and let harden.



Christmas Tree Marshmallows
*makes 8

Ingredients:

24 large marshmallows
lollipop sticks (found in craft store)
24 ounces vanilla almond bark (see above for where to find)
green sprinkles
white sprinkles
m&m's minis


Directions:

Melt vanilla almond bark in microwave or stove top according to directions on back of package. 

Stack three large marshmallows onto the end of a lollipop stick. Push together so there are no gaps. Dip the marshmallow stick into the melted bark, using a spoon to spread it, if needed. Shake off excess. 

Using a spoon, dust the marshmallow stick with green sprinkles. Place on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet. Repeat for remaining marshmallows. Place in fridge or freezer until firm.

Cover with lollipop wrappers or plastic wrap and tie with a bow. Share with family and friends. Merry Christmas!!
