DIY Halloween Costumes for the Whole Family. Over 150 Awesome Ideas!!

This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Today we watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
and it got me in the mood to start looking at costumes
and getting some idea of what I'm going to be for Halloween.
(I'm leaning towards the Red Queen since I already got the hair color for it. lol)
As I was browsing Pinterest, I thought it would be a good idea
to help you out by compiling a gallery of do-it-yourself costumes.
Some are Disney and some aren't but they're all pretty easy to make
or gather the clothing/items for. Some you may even have on hand.

This sweet Ariel costume is made from a tulle skirt
over everyday clothing. Just add a wig!

Long white coat + cardboard head = Beaker

Simple Cinderella Costume (pre-ball)

SO creative!! The hitch-hiking ghosts from The Haunted Mansion.

Blue Cape, wand and white wig for The Fairy Godmother

T-shirts and sweatshirts turned into Incredibles costumes.
Great for the family!!

Ping-pong balls glued to a head band and a green collar
make a simple and fun Kermit the Frog costume.
This one is of my son (from a few years ago)
as The Mad Hatter.
The only things we bought were the hat and wig.
All the clothing was either on hand or from a thrift store.
We strung the thread spools onto an old belt
and cut the "gloves" from the bottom of some pajama pants.
It's one of my favorite costumes we've ever made!

make an easy mime costume.

Just make the skirt from tulle ribbons.

Green sweats and hoodie are the base for this Perry the Platypus.

Simple Red Queen/Queen of Hearts collar
made from an actual deck of cards.
Dollar store!!

Love these little chefs from Ratatouille!
Simply add pots and Remy and Emile (stuffed animals).

The makeup is spot on for this Sally costume.
