Disney takes French Toast to the extreme by using
cheese danish as the base for this breakfast pastry.
Not only is every bite coated in cinnamon sugar,
you also get a bonus of sweet cream cheese inside.

Cheese Danish French Toast
6 Cheese Danish
3 whole eggs
2 cups of milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons baking soda
6 tablespoons sugar
vegetable oil, for frying
1 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon, for coating
Cut danish into fourths. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Pour in milk and vanilla and stir well. Set aside.
In a second bowl, mix flour with baking soda and sugar. Add this mixture to the egg/milk mixture. Mix well until you have a pancake batter texture. Let sit 10 minutes.
In a shallow dish, mix 1 cup of sugar with cinnamon. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil to 375 degrees (F) in a deep pan.
Create your assembly line: danish pieces, batter, hot oil, paper towel-lined plate, cinnamon-sugar.
Dip danish pieces in batter, coating all sides. Shake off excess. Drop into hot oil and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook other side. Remove and place on paper towel-lined plate. Now move to cinnamon sugar and coat all sides. Set on serving platter.
Serve with fresh fruit. Enjoy!!
