"The French Bakery" in Epcot
If you haven't been by the newly expanded Boulangerie Patisserie, then I highly suggest you add it to your itinerary for your next visit to Epcot. I've always loved stopping in at the old one, but it was very crowded and I always felt kind of rushed so I was thrilled to discover how spacious the new location is.
It is a bit hidden in the France pavilion, you'll need to walk all the way to the back to find it.
Once inside, you'll find the gift shop, walk a little further to the back of the store and you'll see the entrance to the bakery.
I forgot to take a pic of the seating area, but it's too the left of this pic shown above. There are quite a few small tables and it can get pretty crowded so if there is no seating available in here, then try the tables outside.
There are two lines with the exact same items on both sides. Here are some of the options:
Dinde BLT - Turkey BLT (on left)
Jambon Beurre - Ham & Cheese Baguette (on right)
Lyonmaise - Bacon & Egg Salad (on left)

Getting through the line was a breeze and the servers were helpful and friendly. You go through the line and the items are placed on a gold tray. You pay when you reach the end of the line and then go find a table.
Here is what we ended up with:
Hubby got the Chocolate Mousse (upper left). He said it was amazing!
The little bits on top are Rice Krispies.
My younger son got the huge chocolate chip cookie (lower right).
It had chunks of both milk and dark chocolate
and chocolate chips too.
Just look how much chocolate they pack into it!
My older son chose the Napoleon (lower left),
he really liked the cream filling
and ordered it a second time
when we went back a few days later.
I had the mousse on my last visit so I wanted to try something different. I was hesitant about picking the Strawberry Tart (upper right) because I thought it might be a little bland, BUT I was SO WRONG!! It was the most delicious dessert I've ever had in my entire life! I mean I can't stop thinking about this thing, it was that good! The Chantilly Cream was incredible and the crust was more like a sugar cookie than plain old pie crust. And the strawberries were perfectly in season considering it was February!
I couldn't wait until we went back a few days later to get it again. And I even talked my husband out of ordering the mousse a second time so he could try the tart. He gave in and was so happy he did. He loved it just as much as me!
