Cape May Cafe: Mickey Macaroni & Cheese Recipe

Cape May Cafe: Mickey Macaroni & Cheese
*serves 6-8


1 1/4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
1 cup American cheese, grated
salt and white pepper, to taste


Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and stir, creating a roux. Pour in milk and whisk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in grated cheese. Mix in prepared macaroni and stir well to incorporate. Salt and pepper to taste.
