Biergarten: Macaroni Salad Recipe




Biergarten: Macaroni Salad
*serves 8

Ingredients:

2 cups dry elbow macaroni
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup canned peas
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/4 cup diced onion
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup regular dill pickle juice
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
salt & pepper, to taste


Directions:

   Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and let cool. Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl. Add in cooled macaroni and toss gently until well coated. Salt & pepper to taste.

  2. Doesn't say whether to use pickle juice from garlic dills or sweet pickles. I should think different juices would make the salad taste different. Which to use??

  3. It should be regular dill pickle juice. I'll add that to the recipe. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. ;)

  5. I use to work for Disney world at Cosmic Rays, loved the ceser salad dressing and the raspberry dressing, the chicken wing sauce was good also. I'd love to have the recipes for those 3 favorites.
