Tony's Town Square: Italian Meatballs Recipe

Tony's Town Square: Italian Meatballs
*yields 26 - 30 meatballs


1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1/4 cup onions, minced
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano


   Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with hands. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator 3 - 4 hours.

   Remove from fridge and begin forming into golf ball-size meatballs. Place meatballs on cookie sheet 1-inch apart. Bake in oven 15 - 20 minutes, until firm to the touch and no longer pink in the middle.

  Serve hot as is or topped with Tony's Town Square House Red Sauce on a bed of spaghetti.
