Tuesday's Travel Tip: Easy Packing for The Little Ones

I know how difficult it can be to get everyone up early, dressed and out of the resort, just in time to get to the park before rope drop. So, I've got a little tip for those of you traveling with small children. You will need gallon-size Ziploc baggies, Disney-themed stickers and a permanent marker.

Before packing, pick out each child's complete outfit for every day of the week. And by outfit, I mean every item they will wear that day: socks, underwear, shorts/pants, shirt, hair bow/accessory and jewelry. Place each complete outfit into a gallon-size Ziploc baggie. On the label area, write the day of the week the child will wear that outfit with a permanent marker.

Then designate a certain Disney character from your stickers for each child. Such as: Minnie Mouse for Wendy and Mickey Mouse for Peter. Place a sticker of that character on each of that child's baggies. Squeeze the air from the bags as you seal them and place them inside your suitcases. They should lay pretty flat.

Once you arrive at your resort or hotel, you can easily place each bagged outfit into the dresser drawers and not have to spend time figuring out which items belong to which child. Then in the morning, you can pull out the baggie for that day and easily dress the children. Even better, if your children are old enough to read they can pick out their own baggie and dress themselves! Happy Packing!!
